With a flight time of just ten minutes, this is the quickest international flight in the world. Even better, Anguilla Air Services schedules its flights so that they coincide with the itineraries of the principal airlines. Adult round-trip tickets typically cost $200 to $240 and include a free checked bag. The cost of the airfare already includes all taxes and fees, unlike the ferries.

You will have to make separate reservations for your flights from your U.S. flights since Anguilla Air Services does not participate in any codeshare agreements. flights. For safety reasons, I advise allowing at least 90 minutes between flights in case your inbound flight is delayed. Even so, making the transfer is almost as easy as making a regular connecting flight.

When you land at SXM, a representative from the airline will greet you and direct you to the transfer desk. You do not have to go through immigration like you would with the ferry options.

Unfortunately, it is not the same when traveling from Anguilla to St. You will need to go through immigration and recheck your luggage on your return since Anguilla Air Services cannot issue boarding passes for other airlines or transfer bags to them.

In a tiny Britten Norman Islander with only four rows of two seats each, the 12-mile flight takes place in 10 minutes. Because there isn’t much room, the bags are typically transported on a second plane.

Considering how brief the flight is, the legroom is limited but manageable. Be aware that turbulence might be easier to notice because the aircraft is smaller. I thought the beautiful scenery was the real high point of the flight. Flying was a time saver as well as a way to see more of the world.
